March 2025 - Heritage Collaboration with Garden Fairies UK
Corrotec was delighted to collaborate with Garden Fairies UK, the Wirral based up-cycling garden centre specialising in vintage and historical garden pieces, providing specialist surface treatment and protective coating solutions to restore and preserve a range of unique vintage and historical items. This project demonstrated Corrotec's versatility across non-industrial applications, applying the same precision engineering approach to heritage pieces as we bring to critical industrial assets.
June 2026 - Heritage Engineering - Restoring Components for Talyllyn Railway's ''Duncan''
Corrotec was proud to carry out specialist surface treatment work on components for No6 Engine 'Duncan', one of the historic steam locomotives of the Talyllyn Railway in Wales, and one of the real-life engines that inspired Reverend W.Awdry's beloved Thomas the Tank Engine stories.
